morethanmusic
How often have you been bored in a concert?
Not many people will admit it but many secretly suffer, even those who are great music lovers. With the easy availability of CDs today if we choose to see music performed live we begin to expect something more than just music.
We are now living in a world where different styles fight to grab the attention, be that with food, fashion, books, art or music. We are used to a high level of visual stimulation with television, film and video and visual advertising is a constant and almost subliminal part of our culture. Classical music has to now compete with this sophisticated level of presentation and a concert has to become a visual as well as an aural experience.
The aim of morethanmusic is to breathe a breath of fresh air into the concert experience, making it an even more pleasurable event and to present quality music in a new way, drawing upon elements of theatre, dance, art and film to enhance the understanding and deepen the enjoyment of the evening.
Take a look through the website and see the future of concerts unfold.......
